2024 summer has arrived babies, you know what that means— a new Cotton Candy Style Guide.
It’s a hot, hot Summer in 2024. Who would’ve thought we’d make it this far? And in gratitude of that statement, that’s been the theme of my life this summer. Making friends with everyone I meet. Stepping out of my comfort zone. Taking it all in, every second.
Because that little girl I once was, wanted to do everything she could.
I’ve made this seasons style guide in her honor.

Living in Austin has been such a joy this summer. I’m 21 now, and there’s a whole new scene in the city that I haven’t experienced yet. But thats not all I was missing. I was missing togetherness. I was missing a community.
I met some of the most wonderful, beautiful, and intelligent women I have ever met. Each of us finding our own paths in life, but coping together making this wonderfully harmonious and understanding friendship. I used to hate opening up to people, even if I felt we could be friends. I didn’t want to regret taking my walls down. Again.
But thank God I did.
My girlfriends Danni & Persia helped me bring this edit to life, and for that I cannot thank them enough.

This Southern Summer we’re making the palette lighter, fresher, and more practical to curate for everyday wear.
Western wear is fucking underrated. And I don’t mean the “fast fashion” western wear, I mean the fabric that feels better on your skin while under the sun, like linen and light colors, the denim that fits just right, the leather boots that’ll last you a lifetime, and most importantly, THE ACCESSORIES.
Above you’ll see delicate jewelry that the light touches perfectly. Rings made with stones, and necklaces & bracelets adorning your already beautiful features. Keep it light with the jewelry this summer. Taking consideration of the Texas sun, lots of jewelry stacked in one area can create heat, which leads to sweating, which can lead to irritation on your skin. Or irritation period.
Throw on some vintage jewelry, whether or not you think it totally matches the look. Anything can “match” with confidence. It’s never about what you wear, but how your wearing it. With that mindset, you can pull off anything.

The boots Persia and I are wearing here were actually imported. Mine, Brazil. Her’s, Lithuania Europe. Both vintage. Isn’t that iconic? Giving fashion a second life?
Shoes aren’t the only thing that you can give a second life.
Your inner child deserves it, too.
There is no one else that should matter to you, besides YOU, when it comes to your fashion choices this summer. Wear it, and FLAUNT IT! You’re this young only once.
Wear that thrifted top, wear those heels out tonight, and pick out some jewelry from behind the glass counter. You deserve to look as beautiful on the outside as the inside.
